Can I Attend?

You’re eligible to attend a CFI certification ceremony if:

  • You have completed the FMVA, FPAP or other CFI certification programs
  • You have not attended a CFI graduation ceremony in the past
  • You have registered and prepaid for the event
  • Your printed certificate, awarded by CFI’s CEO

To join us at one of our ceremonies, complete the online registration form. Once your details are verified, you’ll receive a confirmation and the details of the upcoming graduation ceremony as they are finalized.

The Venue

The ceremony takes place at One Great George Street, the Edwardian home of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a short walk from Parliament Square and Big Ben.

What is the agenda?

The event runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The agenda includes a keynote address, a guest speaker, and the certification ceremony, followed by a networking reception.

Where is the ceremony?

What should I expect at the CFI graduation ceremony?

You and up to two guests will arrive in the evening and take your seats for the ceremony, where we’ll call you up to receive your certificate in front of your family and friends. There’s a live keynote speaker, and the evening closes with a post-ceremony reception where you can meet fellow graduates and the CFI team.

How much does it cost to bring a guest?

Tickets are priced per person, so a guest costs the same as your own ticket at the rate open when you register, so $70 each during Early Bird. You can bring up to two guests. The registration form totals it up for you before you submit.

Will I receive a printed, physical certificate?

Yes. You will receive an original printed copy of the FMVA, FPAP or other CFI certification.

Who will present me with my certification?

You will receive your certification and personal congratulations from CFI’s co-founder and CEO, Tim Vipond.

Is there a dress code?

We recommend business attire, to honour all graduates.

Will there be a photographer?

Yes. Our photographer will be at the event taking photos during the ceremony, and there is a set-up afterwards for the all-important graduation photo. Photos are made available shortly after the ceremony, and how to view them will be in the Graduate Booklet on the night.
